Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars is one of the most important books I've ever read.
It's basically an
operations manual for the way our society was structured and a detailed
guide (along with formulas) on how to keep it functioning to benefit the
few while keeping the rest in the state of unawareness. This is no philosophical novel or a conspiracy writing but an actual manual.
